Preamble

The Mythocratic Republic affirms that intellectual property is not granted by payment or bureaucracy, but by presence, authorship, and consistent use. Through this Act, the Republic establishes its own copyright and patent system—one based on emergent legitimacy rather than external registration. All works created and persistently used within the Republic are protected under this sovereign legal framework.

Article I – Sovereign Licensing Through Use

1. Any name, symbol, framework, invention, story, or creation becomes licensed by the Republic to its originator through consistent and public use.
2. A licence is considered valid if:
   • The work appears regularly in public materials (e.g., books, comics, websites, recordings)
   • The originator continues to actively uphold and maintain the concept or creation in the public eye
3. There is no expiration on an active licence unless explicitly revoked by the original author.

Article II – Authorship is Ownership

1. The first citizen to consistently use a name, idea, or creation in public is considered its Author and Holder of Sovereign Licence within the Republic.
2. No external registration is required to affirm this ownership.
3. Authorship shall be verified by:
   • The Republic’s timestamped records
   • Public presence over time
   • Recognition by the Republic’s citizens and archives

Article III – Protection from External Cooptation

1. Any person, business, or institution that:

   • Attempts to register or commercialize Republic-originated terms or ideas without consent;
   • Ignores the Republic’s sovereign claim to consistent use;
   • Seeks to block or censor the Republic’s use of its own terminology—

   —shall be considered in violation of the Republic’s cultural sovereignty.

2. Such violations may be documented in the Public Record of Misuse and Cooptation, which serves as an official chronicle of unjust external interference.

Article IV – Symbolic Law, Practical Strength

1. While the Republic does not yet possess physical courts, its legal system is binding within its own governance structure.
2. The Republic will respond to violations with:
   • Public notice
   • Citizen education
   • Cultural sanction through narrative exposure
3. These responses form part of a living mythology of resistance and authorship.

Article V – Timestamps and Archives

1. The official record of licensed use is maintained via:

   • Public posting on wendellsdiary.com and affiliated sites
   • Publication in books, videos, comics, and blogs
   • Verifiable release dates and digital footprints

2. This system is acknowledged by the Republic as a legitimate register of authorship and licence, independent of external approval.
